About the Lake Region Woodshed

The Lake Region Woodshed is a community initiative led by Loon Echo Land Trust in collaboration with local volunteers, organizations, and businesses to ensure our neighbors stay warm through the long Maine winter. Our church hosts the woodshed in our small parking lot across from the church (44 South High Street). Firewood is distributed through scheduled pickups and coordinated home deliveries.

Founded in 2024, the Woodshed is designed to respond quickly with firewood assistance for anyone experiencing a home heating crisis or in need of firewood for the heating season.
