Today’s sermon came from our Maine Conference Minister, the Rev. Deborah Blood, and it is inspiring, challenging, and hopeful. Listen here to learn about church as an elevator, Jesus as walking with us, and the 500 year rummage sale (which really resonated with our group as we prepare for our yard sale on July 21!). Many, many thanks to Rev. Blood for her message, for visioning and dreaming with us after worship, and for the gift of her presence among us today.
Bridgton folks: I (Rev. Emily) will be going to the Portland action/prayer event for the medicaid hearing that Rev. Blood references in her sermon this Wednesday at 8:30am at the Cross Arena. I have 4 empty seats in my car and would gladly fill them with folks who’d like to join in this time of advocacy, prayer, and being the church outside of our walls!
