…the Kingdom of God is the answer to an oppressive empire: our allegiance is not with human Kingdoms but with God’s Kingdom. That’s where our “Kingdom” and “Lord” language comes from in the Gospels – our Lord is not a human ruler, our Lord is the one who taught Love, who risked compassion, who showed us how to change the world.

The Kingdom of God is how God takes over the world – not by overthrowing Pilate or any unjust leader, but by each of us choosing to align our spirits, our hearts, our actions with God above all else.

So the Kingdom of God is like a woman hiding yeast in measures of flour… how so? Listen here to find out.
